These are some of my favorite links to FREE STUFF for your blog. One thing that drives me crazy when I do an internet search for free blogg templates or backgrounds is clicking on a link only to arrive at a page that is just another page full of links to related items. These links are to AWSOME bloggs with AWESOME FREE DOWNLOADABLE backgrounds and embelishments for your websites.

Want to learn how to create your own blog backgrounds?
Intimidated by some of the tutorials out there?  Bloggers, FEAR NO MORE!  Amanda, of Kevin and Amanda.com, has the best, most comprehensive, easiest, step by step tutorial I have ever found on how to create your own custom blogger backgrounds.  This tutorial includes step by step pictures.  It is for a two column background but it canbe easily modified for a three column background.

And if you are savvy , or can find a good tutorial, you can even use it as a Word Press background. It’s kind of a “Background for Dummies” tutorial and its so easy ProlificMom could do it.  To see what I created following Amanda’s instructions go HERE

Looking for some awesome backgrounds?  Shabby blogs is one of the best and cutest sites for blog backgrounds, embellishments and extras.  Here talent just never seems to end.  Right now, ProlificMom.com is using her Basic Shabby Brown for three columns.  Oh, and I’m also using her Desk Drawer (Photo) header graphic.  Oh, and did I mention that I am also using her Design M element graphic in my signature line?  Totally cool! You just have to see everything on this site.  I can’t say AWESOME or INSPIRING enough.

This was my first foray into Blog decorating and I must say it was sooo fun and super easy.  I can’t wait to play dress up with more of her gorgeos backgrounds.
